Kozikidz Stockholm Jacket review

Kozikidz Stockholm Jacket

Here’s a nice companion piece to the Parka I mentioned before.

This is the Kozikidz Stockholm jacket.

The fit on this one is a little shorter, coming in at waist height, so a proper jacket cut. The material is polyester and it’s packed full of synthetic insulation. The baffles are big, so there’s plenty in there, making this very warm for the weight. The shoulders, elbows and back panel are reinforced for durability and there’s an elasticated waistband to keep it in tight. There’s a full length zip with baffle and garage. The sleeves end in deep elasticated cuffs, making the whole arrangement very draught-proof.

The removable hood is insulated too which adds a whole chunk of extra warmth. The fur trim can be removed too, although in this house that would only be done under duress, trust me I’ve tried.

There are two zippered pockets which are perfect for storing your Bear Yoyo cards, or so I’m told.

Performance is great, it’s light and mobile so the wee ones can run about happily with no restriction while keeping warm. We’ve had it down to minus 7 with no complaints. The rain resistance isn’t as good as the parka I think, so I’d avoid seriously wet days, but snow and wind are no issue at all. It dries quick too.

I asked Millie for her review after a winter’s worth of wear because frankly it doesn’t really matter if I like it, she’s the one using it every day. Her verdict: “it’s awesome!”

Short and sweet, but I think she’s bang on.

Recommended.
